The Judgment of the Thirds

In this episode of The Living Logos, we move from the opening of the Seventh Seal into the unfolding of the Seven Trumpet Judgments in Revelation 8–11. We explore the heavenly temple and how the tabernacle furniture of the Old Testament points to the realities of God’s throne room in heaven, while also examining the biblical purpose of trumpets as announcements of divine presence, warnings, repentance, and coming judgment. From hail and fire mingled with blood to burning mountains, poisoned waters, and the darkening of the heavens, we walk through the first four trumpet judgments—the “judgments of the thirds”—and discuss their connection to the Exodus plagues, the progression of God’s wrath, and His mercy in calling the world to repentance before final judgment falls.
