Kingdoms

In this episode, we step back into Daniel 2 and Daniel 7 to uncover the prophetic background behind the beast of Revelation 13. We trace the kingdoms revealed through Nebuchadnezzar’s statue, examine the traditional Roman interpretation alongside an Islamic-caliphate view of the iron kingdom, and explore how Daniel’s lion, bear, leopard, and terrifying fourth beast connect to John’s final composite beast. Along the way, we consider the geography of these empires, the significance of the ten horns, and why the Antichrist’s kingdom may be centered in the Middle East rather than exercising literal political control over the entire world.
