The Seven Titles of Christ

In Revelation 2–3, Jesus addresses seven real churches. Before He corrects, warns, or encourages them, He first reveals who He is. Each letter begins with a title of Christ drawn from the vision in Revelation 1. This is intentional. Christ does not begin with their condition—He begins with His identity.
